Tony Reyes Bilingual Child Development Center

Tony Reyes Bilingual Child Development Center opened its doors twelve years ago on June 30, 2009 to serve children ages 6wks to 3 yrs. Today the program serves 42 children and families with Early Head Start services through a contract with Sunbeam Family Services.  Three years after opening the center, the program earned a national accreditation with the National Association for the Education of Young Children.  Currently, the program is going through NAEYC re-accreditation, the program has earned a three star status with the Department of Human Services since 2000.

The purpose of this program is to work towards enhancing children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development; to assist parents in their role as caregivers and first teachers of their children; and to help parents meet their own goals, including economic independence.
